Cultural Club Report
The richness and variety of Indian culture, the 10,000 years of its history and the cultural continuity in it, myriad forms of traditions need to be preserved. The promotion, preservation and dissemination of information on India’s cultural heritage has been the prime concern of this Centre (CCRT). With this objective in mind, the CCRT has undertaken the task of setting up CULTURAL CLUB IN SCHOOLS.
A Cultural Club is a means by which school students can organize themselves to learn more about India’s Cultural Heritage. For teachers it is a tool to create awareness, develop respect and appreciation towards Indian arts. And also motivate school students to undertake action-projects to conserve Indian Cultural traditions.
CCRT provides a financial assistance of Rs.7500/- initially for one academic session. (April 01 to March 31).
A detailed report of the activities conducted throughout the year is mandatory as part of implementation of CCRT’s Cultural Club Scheme in the Schools.
Over the years while going through the reports of various Cultural Clubs it was felt that students were doing excellent work which should be put up on Centre’s Website. This will act as a platform for other schools to interact and exchange ideas related to Indian Culture keeping this in mind Cultural Club reports were evaluated with a purpose to select best Cultural Club reports to be put up on website.
In order to analyses and finalize the best Cultural Club Reports to be placed on CCRT Website to be accessible to the member schools a Committee was formed for the selection of best 6 Cultural Club Reports for the year 2014-15, and these best selected 6 reports were put on the website as Komal Asha.
Again for the year 2015-16 also a similar committee was formed to select the best 7 Cultural Club Reports and these selected reports can be seen at Komal Asha in our website.

Sharavathi Cultural Club, Karnataka In charge – Smt.Poornima. SThis Club takes Cultural Club like a way bridge between CCRT and school to carry out various activities to reach the ultimate aim of education.Sharavathi Cultural Club is working like immense, continuous flow of its logo – jog falls pledge of the Club Says that as citizens, member shall upload the values, virtues and glory of our rich Cultural Heritage. This Cultural Club progressed with exhibition of CCRT educational material, study of India’s historical places & monuments, essay competition on Importance of Value education in schools, learning songs in National Languages, making of colorful lanterns, yoga demonstration by the students, meditation, traditional Rangoli, food making , speech quiz , competition, lecture on control of air pollution and ear rifts making classes. |

Swabhiman Cultural Club, Kerala In charge – Ms. Naseema PUActivities start by taking the pledge and singing of Club song warm welcome is given to the new comers and small gift also awaits for each new child. See how Visit to kadalundi mangroves, on world environment Day made the students understand about the ecosystem of various plants and birds. Five seedlings are distributed to all the Club members and they pledge to grow these plants with great care, named as Swabhiman Plants. Club celebrated Anti-Narcotics Day, Independence Day, karshaka dinam ie farmer’s day in which the members grow herbal plants in their houses. Students visited pazhassi Raja museum and Art Gallery started at east hills, Kozhikode. Training on preparation of phenol solution was given to 10 mothers, of which some are continuing making and selling. Visit to Regional science Centre was able to get the school a Telescope and make arrangement for a sky watching camp. Various workshops on making of L.E.D. bulbs, pottery, writing chalks, and visits to Kerala craft village, nature study comp, botanical garden and Beaches were also organized. Most Important was when the Club member specially decided to give potted plant to school on each ones Birthday. |

Uttaran Cultural Club, West Bengal In charge – Smt. Srabani Chatterji‘Uttaran’ started its journey through celebration of 25th Baisakhi (May) birthday of Kobiguru Rabindranath Tagore through Rabindra Sangeet, skills and dances. Message of Tagore conveyed says ‘let me not pray to be sheltered from dangers, but to be feeless in facing them let me not be for the stilling of my pain, but for the heart to conquer it’. To make students take interest in handicrafts paper Bag making, ornament making by jute, cane, seeds & beads, paper works and dying Art forms of West Bengal, workshops were organized. Camp on yoga and meditation was organized by sahaj yoga meditation centre, tree plantation day was celebrated by planting trees, Independence Day was celebrated through flag hosting, patriotic songs, lathi khela and yoga. To make member understand about craft works of west Bengal village’s educational tour Biswa Bangla Hut, Kolkata was arranged. Special workshop on making of kaleidoscope was also organized to gain knowledge and for entertainment. Various performing arts like kavigan, bratachari, Ranpa dance, Dhali dance, adibasi dance, bohurupi, leto gan, baul were presented. To express love, gratitude and adulation to honor Grandparents ‘Grandparents day festival’ was organized, in which Grandfather shared his experience of school and Grandmother told her child hood story. |

प्रत्यूष सांस्कृतिक क्लब, मध्य प्रदेश शिक्षक प्रभारी – श्री आनन्द नेमासांस्कृतिक जीवन मूल्यों के प्रति सचेत होना वर्तमान की बड़ी आवश्यकता है । कन्या माध्यमिक शाला बौछार द्वारा इस दिशा में किया गया कार्य प्रस्तुत है । छात्राएं कला के विविध रूपों से परिचित होकर भविष्य में भी इनके संरक्षण व संवर्धन हेतु कैसेट प्रयत्नशील हैं, आइए देखें । छात्राओं ने ख्याति प्राप्त लोक गीत गायक श्री जीवनलाल सैन के निर्देशन में विभिन्न लोकगीत शैलियों को सीखा व प्रतिस्पर्धा में भाग लेकर पुरस्कार भी पाए । जैव विविधता के अध्ययन के अंतर्गत् ग्राम तथा उसके बाहरी खेतों तथा मैदानों में पशु-पक्षियों, कीटों, पेड़-पौधों तथा फसलों की जानकारी एकत्रित कर छात्राओं ने उसका प्रस्तुतीकरण किया । बसंत पंचमी पर त्यौहार के महत्व पर चर्चा हुई, रंगोली, अल्पना तथा चौक बनाना सिखाया गया और प्रतियोगिता में पुरस्कार भी दिए गए । एक विशिष्ट गतिविधि स्वरूप छात्राओं ने गांव के बुजुर्गों तथा जानकार लोगों से मिल कर स्थानीय शब्दों तथा अर्थों के संकलन कर इन संकलित शब्दों व लोकगीतों को प्रकाशित कर वितरित भी किया । इतना ही नहीं महिला दिवस पर मिट्टी एवं कागज के खिलौने और बेकार सामग्री से शिल्प भी सिखाए गए । छात्राओं ने बरहटा तथा नोनिया प्राकृतिक ऐतिहासिक व पुरातात्विक महत्व के स्थानों का भ्रमण कर जानकारी भी एकत्रित की । |

कुमार गंधर्व सांस्कृतिक क्लब, देवास शिक्षक प्रभारी: श्री शिवचरण अँगोरियादेवास में रहने वाले विश्व विख्यात शास्त्रीय संगीतकार कुमार गन्धर्व के नाम से यह क्लब छात्रों में सांस्कृतिक प्रतिभा को उभारने तथा विरासत के प्रति कुछ करने के भाव जगाने में सफल रहा है । क्लब प्रतिज्ञा करता है कि यथा शक्ति ईश्वर एवं संस्कृति और देश के प्रति और क्लब के प्रति अपने कत्तव्यों का पालन करेगा । क्लब गीत के रंगीले शब्द – ‘रंग रंगीलों रे राज्य म्हारो मध्य प्रदेश नदियों में माता की ममता – बिरछा-बिरछा मेवा गौतम नानक वाणी गूंजे – उज्जैनिय महादेवाक्लब के उद्देश्य – – भारतीय कला और संस्कृति के प्रति जागृति – भारतीय परंपराओं के प्रति आदर भाव – छात्रों को धरोहर संरक्षक बनाना – भारतीय कला तथा संस्कृति का ज्ञान अर्जित करने हेतु प्रेरित करना । मेहन्दी मांडना, होली पर गोबर के भारोलिया, मिट्टी के खिलौने बनाती, खजूर की पत्तियों, लकडियों से वस्तुएं, दोनों व पत्तलों और रद्दी से घर सजाने के झूमर, कागज के फूल, पर्स बनाती, संझा नई भित्ति सज्जा, छात्राओं द्वारा गीत गाना – कला के विविध रूपों से जुड़ते प्रतीत होती हैं । |

अजन्ता कल्चरल क्लब, महाराष्ट्र शिक्षक प्रभारी : श्री जाडकर आर. डी.अजन्ता क्लचरल क्लब भारतीय संस्कृति के प्रचार-प्रसार में सतत् कार्यरत है । क्लब की गतिविधियों द्वारा सदस्यों को भारत की महान संस्कृति और परंपराओं के विषय में बहुत कुछ सीखने-जानने को मिला । आइए देखें – कैसे पेपर मेशी से फाईल कवर, पेन स्टैण्ड, कागज से पेपर बॉल, काईट पेपर से फूल, बांधनी से विविध प्रकार के हाथ रूमाल, शिल्प कला से बनाए रंग-बीरंगे गणेश – छात्रों ने । कोई भी शिल्पकला अछूती नही है इस क्लब के सदस्यों से । राखियां तक क्लब के सदस्यों ने स्वयं बनाई, इस में जो उन्हें आनंद मिला – वह देखिए । इतना ही नहीं दीपावली पर आकाश दीप देख कर नहीं लगता कि बाजार में मिलने वाले आकाश दीप से कम है ये । मन लगा कर अपनी कलात्मकता, रंगशीलता को दिखा रहे हैं ये छात्र । महाराष्ट्र की वरली और आदिवासी चित्रकला को शामिल किए बिना तो गतिविधियां अधूरी हैं । वरली सीख फ्रेम और लिफाफे बनाए । देखिए । कैसे छात्र इस कला को सतत् आज के समय में अपने भीतर समाहित करने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं । छत्रपति शिवाजी जयन्ती के अवसर पर कीर्तन कला द्वारा शिवाजी महाराज के जीवन प्रसंग, राजनीति, युद्वनीति सुनाई, बताई गई तथा महिला दिवस के अवसर पर बनाई वस्तुओं की प्रदर्शनी भी लगाई गई जिसे देखने, शाबाशी देने, सदस्यों के माता-पिता, नाना-नानी भी आए । |

विराट संस्कृति, महाराष्ट्र शिक्षक प्रभारी : श्रीमती विभावरी भ. देशपांडेअपनी 2000 वर्ष पुरानी सांस्कृतिक धरोहर का संरक्षण करने वाला गांव – वाई, यहां विराट संस्कृति सांस्कृतिक क्लब है । विद्यालय परिसर को शांति निकेतन का स्वरूप देने का कार्य और इसी को आगे बढ़ाते हुए दीवारों पर चित्रकारी और वृक्षारोपण ने परिसर को एक विशेष आकार दे दिया है । विद्यार्थियों के चित्र, तरह-तरह के रंगीन – कक्षाओं की दीवारों को आकर्षक बनाते दिखते हैं । काशी विश्वेश्वर मंदिर परिसर में बैठ विद्यार्थियों द्वारा स्केचिंग कला, इतिहास, शैक्षणिक साहित्य, कलाकारों की कृतियों पर प्रदर्शनी, दिन दर्शिका, गांव और परिसर तथा रायगढ़ के किले का मॉडल, विविध विषयों पर जागृति जगाते बताए पोस्टर्स अलग ही दिखते हैं । धरोहर यात्रा के अंतर्गत फर्ग्युसन कॉलेज, बाई जेरबाई वाडिया लाइब्रेरी को देखना, जानना, स्केच बनाना, ‘किसान’ प्रदर्शनी को देखना, आधुनिक तकनीक जानना । महाराष्ट्र में लुप्त होती जा रही मोडी लिपि का प्रशिक्षण देने हेतु श्री सकुडे को आमंत्रित करना, विद्यालय में व्यंग्य चित्रकार श्री मंगेश तेंदुलकर, शास्त्रज्ञ श्री जयंत नारणीकर का आमंत्रित किया जाना, विविध शिल्प जैसे चाक पर मिट्टी का काम, बांस की टोकरियाँ बनाना – सभी गतिविधियां – संस्कृति के रख-रखाव व प्रचार-प्रसार की ओर सतत् ले जाती हैं । |
