CCRT successfully organised the workshop on “Integrating Craft Skills in School Education” at it’s Regional Centre, Guwahati from July 05 to 14, 2023 in which 83 in-service teachers from 12 different States/UT’s namely Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karanataka, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tripura and Uttarakhand participated.

In the workshop, as per the recommendations of NEP – 2020, various innovative sessions on craft based pedagogy were organised.

On July 14, 2023 a Siddhi Samaroh ( Valedictory) was organised in which Chief Guest,  Dr. Dhrubajyoti Hatibaruah, ACS, Deputy Secretary to the Govt. Assam, Indigenous and Tribal Faith and Culture Department and Director, Department of Historical and Antiquarian Studies, Govt. of Assam graced the occasion and appreciated  the exhibition of various Crafts & Art Objects  made by the participants. The participants were awarded  the certificates also by him .
