CCRT is organising a 15-day on-campus workshop, titled “Role of Puppetry in Education,” from September 11 to 25, 2023, at CCRT Headquarters in New Delhi.72 inservice teachers representing Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and West Bengal are participating. Various distinguished experts from the field of puppetry will guide the workshop, with a primary emphasis on the art-integrated approach to education, aligning seamlessly with the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020. Throughout the course, participants will delve into the innovative use of puppetry as a cross-curricular pedagogy, a pivotal aspect of this workshop.
