He has performed in 400 recitals in Delhi alone and at ‘Young Music Festival’, Orissa; ‘Platinum Jubilee Celebration’ of Aligarh Muslim University; SPIC-MACAY; Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Academy; Annual Music Festival, Delhi School of Music, Punjab Amritsar Heritage Festival, INTACH. He has represented India in many countries abroad including Africa, Europe and has given performances in Nepal, Indo-West Fusion Concert, Dubai, BBC, London, Trans Musical Festival, France and Helsinki Music Festival, Finland. A regular performer on TV and radio, Johar has been associated with many groups and artistes of international repute, and creating innovative and thematic music. Sargam, a musical band founded by him aimed at Fusion of modern and traditional musical instruments/musical archaistic with light classical, Bollywood, popular Jazz, Punjabi and Hindi songs, has found instant success. |
