Digital District Repository ( DDR ) training workshop was organized by CCRT in Collaboration with DSERT and RICMB, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on March 3rd 2023 for in-service school teacher, teacher educators, Artists & B.Ed Students etc.totalling 159 participants.
The Inaugural address was delivered by the Director, CCRT, New Delhi, Shri Rishi Vashist briefing on the ‘DDR, it’s importance, & role of participants ’ there by motivating them to participate in this Revolutionary task, He appealed to participants to take this up as a moral national duty and as a national level contribution in rewriting the History of our country.
Detailed session on DDR was taken by Smt Soundarya Kaushik, Field Officer, CCRT on Introduction and Methodology for Submitting stories under DDR Project. Sharing the methodology about developing the stories for DDR Project & Practical Session on extensive academic exercise of writing stories. 03 District Resource Persons ( DRPs) also presented their Case Studies and shared their experiences of collecting stories.
The Siddhi Samaroh (Valedictory Function) was presided by Chief guest – Smt. V Sumangala, Director, Department of State Educational Research and Training (DSERT) , Bengaluru, Karnataka. She gave a Motivational Valedictory address to all the Karnataka teachers asking them to contribute stories to the DDR Project. Other dignitaries on the stage were – Shri. Rishi Vashist, Director, CCRT, New Delhi, Shri. Prasad SKB, Dy. Dir.(DSERT), Bengaluru. Dr.K Ravichandran, Dy. Dir. RICMB, Smt. Sowmya S, Sr. Lecturer , RICMB.
Certificates were distributed to All Teacher participants and the workshop officially concluded with the singing of national anthem.
