CCRT organised a Workshop titled ‘ Collecting Stories under Digital District Repository ( DDR ) Project under AKAM on April 17, 2023 in association with and at DIET, Mangalore, Karnataka. 98 participants, which included teachers, DIET Lecturers, B.Ed Students, Artists, Ph.D scholars etc. participated from all over Mangalore. The workshop was inaugurated by Smt. Rajalakshmi, DDPI & DIET Principal by lighting the lamp alongwith writer of Recall of Amara Sulya. Dr. Rahul Kumar. Deputy Director, CCRT, briefed the participants about CCRT and DDR project. Kranti kahale yakshagana Talamaddale by Ms. Mangala & Troupe presented a Story Telling Session on Contribution of Mangalore in Indian Freedom Movement . After noon session was taken by Ms. Vilma Crasta CCRT’s DRP and Alwyn DIET Lecturer presenting case studies about the uploaded stories on the website – www.amritmahotsav.nic.in Anindita Gowda, writer of Amara Sulya briefed about book based on surviving British Records followed by Cirtificate distribution to the participants.
