Workshops for Teacher Trainers

          The CCRT constantly in search of means and ways of broadening her base of work reinitiated the implementation of the

          the teachers working in the remote rural parts of the country through it. These Workshops stress on the need to present
          India as a cultural entity. Various themes covered under these Workshops are architectural heritage, folklore and lifestyle of
          rural and tribal India, visual, oral and aural performing and fine arts of India, scriptural heritage of India, etc. The stress is
          on the need to go beyond the political and geographical boundaries and encourage children to share heritage and values.
          The participants are trained to conduct short term workshops in the districts under the guidance of respective Principals and
          District Education Authorities.


          Three Workshops on “Cultural Inputs in Curriculum Teaching” were organized for the Teacher Trainers/District Resource
          Persons (DRP’s). The first Workshop was organized at New Delhi from September 27 to October 1, 2011 in which 35 trained
          teachers from different states participated. The second Workshop  on “Cultural Inputs in Curriculum Teaching” was organized
          from December 12 to 16, 2011 at New Delhi in which 7 trained teachers from different states participated. The third
          Workshop was organized from January 27 to 31, 2012 at New Delhi in which 17 trained  teachers participated.
