Cultural Festival on ‘Unity in Diversity’ for Scholarship-holders
The main goal of these festivals is to create an understanding of the aesthetic and cultural values in order to appreciate
and understand the creative expressions of mankind through the ages and promote experiences of beauty through sensory
perceptions. In the Festivals, special efforts are made to involve the youth in cultural developments, to inculcate in them a spirit
of harmony and togetherness and to channelize youthful energy in creative and productive pursuits.
The students interact with eminent Gurus and erudite scholars and practice under their guidance to give synchronized cultural
presentations during the Festival. They are also taken on educational tours to places of cultural and natural importance during
these programmes to show how nature has inspired the creative genius of the visual artists, poets, musicians or dancers
and to motivate them for making efforts to conserve our heritage at regional levels.
The Centre organized a National Cultural Festival titled 'Unity in Diversity' at Hyderabad from March 04 to 10, 2017.
84 scholarship-holders alongwith their escorts participated from various parts of the country, in the 07 days long Festival.
