Better Interaction & Diversification of CCRT Activities

The Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, while finalizing the activities for XIIth Five Year Plan of this organization approved the continuation of the scheme of XIth Five Year Plan that CCRT, in order to diversify its activities and have better interaction with the State Education Department, Should appoint Nodal Officers in the rank of Joint Director/ Dy. Director in the State Department of Education in each State/UT. who should co-ordinate with the CCRT in order to implement its various activities. It has also been approved that the Nodal Officers who are appointed may be paid a token monthly honorarium for discharging the additional responsibilities to be assigned by the CCRT.

🎓 Programme Implementation

Implementation of training, documentation, and production of cultural materials.
Managing Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme (CTSSS) implementation.
Conducting Training for Administrators and Educators.

📚 Academic Development

Discussing methodologies to acquaint students/teachers with rich cultural heritage.
Reviewing cultural education in schools and suggesting aesthetic activities.
Fostering moral and cultural values for students’ personality development.

🏛️ Administrative Support

Deputation of teachers at all levels for CCRT programmes.
Providing infrastructural support for training and events.
Publicity for implementation of scholarship schemes.
Listing experts in various cultural and educational fields.

📈 Evaluation & Strategy

Evaluating follow-up activities conducted by trained teachers in districts.
Facilitating the Evaluation Department of CCRT.
Submitting recommendations and suggestions for future programmes.

Nodal Officers play a pivotal role in conservation of heritage and personality development of youth through culture.
