Musical Presentations/Theatre/Folk Dances
       AnnuAl RepoRt 2013-14  VIRASAT - CULTURAL FESTIVAL
          The Centre organised Lok Natya Utsav in collaboration with North Central Zonal Cultural Centre (NCZCC) from October 8 to
          12, 2013 at CCRT Dwarka, New Delhi. Various programmes such as Heer Ranjha (Swang, Haryana), Vir Amar Singh Rathor
          (Rammat, Rajasthan); Satyavadi Raja Harishchandra (Nautanki, Uttar Pradesh); Rajyogi Bharthari (Maach, Madhya Pradesh) and
          Bidesiya, Bihar were presented.






















          The Cultural Festival - Virasat - Kamaladevi was organised on March 13 & 14, 2014. The festival commenced with the delivery
          of 4th Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay Memorial Lecture (KCML) by Prof. Bharat Gupt titled “Reviving Indian Heritage in Education”
          followed by rendering of Kabir Bani by Shri Prahlad Singh Tipania. The second day of the festival commenced with the flute
          recital by Pandit Kailash Sharma and followed by the rendition of Ghazals by Ustad Ahmed Hussain and  Ustad Mohd. Hussain.
          Both the days, the programmes were very well attended even by the public at large.


          National Institute of Cultural and Heritage Management (NICHM)

          •  Implementing the recommendations of Shri Mani Shankar Aiyar Report on the efficacy of Zonal Cultural Centres (ZCC) in the
              country, the CCRT organised Training cum workshop for Directors, Zonal Cultural Centres  at CCRT, New Delhi from June
              25 to 29, 2013. It  was inaugurated by Smt. Chandresh Kumari Katoch, Hon’ble Minister of Culture, Government of India.























          •  Subsequently, Training Programme for Officers of Zonal Cultural Centres was organized at CCRT, New Delhi from
              July 23 to 27, 2013.

          •  The CCRT organized a training programme entitled “Management of Cultural Resources: Trends & Nascent Development”
              for the librarians from March 26-30, 2014 at CCRT, New Delhi. 42 librarians from Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra,
              Puducherry and Tamil Nadu participated in this programme.

          The leeway has been used for discussion and planning further programmes under the provisions of the Scheme.


          Cultural Heritage Youth Leadership Programme (CHYLP)
          The Scheme of CHYLP has been transferred to CCRT in June 2013. The scheme entails funding of various Organizations for
          organizing educational visits for less privileged children of schools, production grant/distribution for making audio-visual
          presentations.
